This program captures and highlights accomplishments and high points of the decades.
From the 1920’s until 1990’s through the lens of a chef. Program highlights social and political events, top news, cultural and societal changes, literature and media accomplishments; and of course “food”. Attendees will connect through this lively program that will spur discussion and encourage the sharing of fond memories. A meal highlighting the foods and styles of each decade are slated for demonstration. What we make, we eat!
After kitchen safety – camp activities are hands-on. All camps have a supply fee due at the beginning of the 1st session.
There are so many ingredients, equipment, cultures and preferences that kids should never be bored learning about food.
Join in on the fun at any of our school break or summer camps.
Chefsville camps generally run from 9am – noon or 1pm – 4pm.
Not only do we cover recipes, but games and learning about all kinds of food and food preparation techniques.
We eat what we make. Chefsville has many camp themes so that learning is always fresh. Each year we update our recipe lists and deliver new recipes, games and activities.
