Chefsville's Board of Directors
Committed to kids, families and community.

Chef Scott Horwitz, Founder/CEO
Chef Scott founded Chefsville because he loves kids and cooking. To connect the two to help reduce family violence, abuse and neglect was too good of an opportunity. Additionally, he wanted to make cooking programs affordable. Since 2009, Chef Scott has been delivering programs all over the DFW metroplex. Chef Scott serves as the major creative talent of Chefsville, designing programs, recipes, and breaking down complex tasks to simpler, educatable forms that kids and families can replicate in their own homes.

Sarah Burke, Vice President
Sarah is one of Chefsville’s leading instructors when not performing board duties, including scheduling, collaborating with other organizations, grant research, grant writing, customer service, and program quality assurance.
Sarah brings her logistical skills, organizational skills and love of kids to Chefsville.
It is Sarah who makes sure everyone in her programs has a “5-star” time.
