Let’s get cooking!

NOTICES:

  • Declare any health issues, and if the child requires medication, that the medication will last for the duration of these program sessions.
  • For the child’s safety, we ask that long hair be tied back and that students wear closed-toe shoes (no open-toe shoes are allowed; example: Crocs). Sneakers preferred.
  • No refunds after the program starts.
  • Chefsville programs combine hands-on cooking with safety, teamwork, STEM, games, and life skills. Participants cook in teams, share equipment, rotate responsibilities, and are encouraged to participate in age-appropriate tasks. This is not a private lesson or individual workstation program.
  • The first session includes introductions, kitchen rules, handwashing, food safety, tool safety, and teamwork expectations. Cooking will accelerate as participants become comfortable with the instructors, equipment, and one another.
  • Chefsville instructors teach, demonstrate, supervise, and assist. Whenever safely possible, participants are expected to complete tasks for themselves. Building independence is an important part of the Chefsville experience.
